Individual Details
William Templer
(9 Sep 1752 - 28 Dec 1777)
Little is known of William, the 5th son, other than that he died young. He had been baptised at Rotherhithe aged 29 days but with no year stated. This is probably the William Templer Esq., described as being of Portsmouth who was buried at Teigngrace on 8 January 1778.
Ron Lewin - 1983
William was probably born in 1753, but at present there is no proof of this. He was approximately 25 when he died in Portsmouth - cause unknown - but described as a "decline in early life." Perhaps TB which was very common?
