Mr. W. E. C. Moss, who was recently elected as first Mayor of Narrogin, has received a large number of telegrams, congratulating him upon his return, including several from Kanowna, of which town Mr. Moss was for several years a prominent resident.
At the first meeting of the Municipal Council Mr. R. V. Uren was appointed to temporarily carry out the duties of Town Clerk. The Narrogin Roads Board has courteously placed its office at the disposal of the Council until a decision is arrived at on the proposal to combine the positions of Town Clerk and Secretary to the Roads Board.
