I am also a decendant of Richard Dole b. December 31, 1622 who traveled to Newbury, MA. from England in 1632, He served as a clerk for John Lowell for seven years. I have in my possession an original diary written by Edward Payson Dole.
He is a younger brother of my great grandfather, Josiah Greenleaf Dole. The diary is about a trip that Edward Dole made to Newbury, MA in 1854. After the trip he wrote a genealogy of the branch of the Dole and Titcomb families that I am descendant of going back to Richard Dole. Edward and Josiah were sons of Oliver Dole who moved from Newbury, MA to Ohio in the early 1800's. I am willing to make a copy of the diary if you would be interested. Any further information that you might have about the descendants of Richard Dole I would appreciate.
