Individual Details
Camilla M. Ellis
(1859 - 1864)
Family letters say Camilla died in an epidemic with two sisters all dying close together. The letters state their father was also sick with the same disease and that the children were carried to the closest part of Harmony Grove cemetery and buried.
She is listed on the 1860 census and that plus her cemetery marker give evidence of her short life. One wonders how their mother could handle such sorrow.
