LT. JG. RALPH CROSS, 24, was killed 14 June 1952 in action in Korea. He was born 17 Feb 1928 in Soda, a son of Daniel & Louise Ivory Cross. His father died 26 May 1940. Services [memorial] were held 21 Sept 1952. His body was never recovered. Survivors: his mother & stepfather, Mr. & Mrs. G. H. Hayward, five sisters, Mrs. Leo Pasco, Mrs. Clyde Caress, Mrs. Van Holden, Mrs. Walter Moore, Mrs. Ada Williams, two brothers, William, & Ted Cross and grandmother Mrs. Anna Ivory, Nabor, Ia.
