Retired School Principal Dies
Tabor Resident Taught In Bluffs
Tabor-Miss Anna Ivory, 81, retired school principal and teacher, died Tuesday in a Council Bluffs hospital. A native of Tabor, Miss Ivory taught for many years in Council Bluffs where she served as principal at the Madison, former Eighth Street (now Tinley) and Washington schools. She retired in 1949 after completing 36 years in the teaching profession. Since then she has made her home in Tabor with a niece, Miss Lucille Hall.
Rites On Thursday
Funeral services will be held Thursday at 2 p. m. at the Reeves Funeral Home in Tabor. The Rev. Glade Sietsema will officiate. Burial will be in the Tabor cemetery. Miss Ivory was a member of the Congregational Church, PEO Sisterhood, Twentieth Century Club and the Wednesday Kensington Club. Only survivors are a number of nieces and nephews.

1900 Anna lived at home and was a school teacher.
