MARIE K. SIROLA AUSTIN Born 1916 - Great Falls, Montana Went home to be with the Lord February 10, 2003 Marie died from complications of a stroke in Rathdrum, Idaho. She was one of 5 daughters and 1 son of immigrant parents. Upon completion of high school, Marie attended business college in Portland, Oregon, then moved to California to start her business career. The former San Lorenzo, California resident, Marie worked in private industry for 20 years before starting a 25 year career in management with the Naval Supply Center in Oakland, CA. She retired and traveled the world twice. Marie was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Daniel. She is survived by children, Carol, her husband, Phil Apple, their children, Jeffrey and Leslie. Son, Danny, wife, Karin, sons, Terrance, Luke and daughter, Merinda. Marie will be remembered as a loving, wonderful mother and grandmother. Also survived by her sister and many nieces and nephews. Services will be held in Great Falls, Montana February 19, at the Chapel of the Chimes.
