Son of Sir Thomas Harcourt and Maud Grey. Grandson of Sir William de Harcourt and Joan de Grey, Sir John de Grey and Avice Marmion.
Husband of Jance Fraunceys, daughter of Sir Robert Fraunceys and Isabel Pershale. They were married about 08 Nov 1406 and had five sons and two daughters; Sir Robert, Sir Richard, Sir William, John and George, Alice and Isabel.
Sir Thomas died in 1420, his widow married Sir Robert Strelley of Oxton.
Brandon Fradd, "A New Royal Ancestry for Christopher1 Batt," The American Genealogist 79 (2004):85-99. Fradd has presented evidence that the Jane Harcourt who married about 1430 Thomas St. Barbe was daughter of Sir Thomas Harcourt and Jane Fraunceys, thus providing a descent from King John to Christopher Batt who arrived in New England in 1638.
