Rooney, 816 Twenty-third street, after a lingering illness. The deceased was aged 66 years, 1 month and 15 days. She was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving her are eight children as follows: Mrs. Margaret McKnight of Alexandria, Huntingdon county; Mrs. Lily Detrick of Philadelphia, Mrs. Mary Beegle, Mrs. Jeney Rooney*, Thomas C., Herman and John, all of Altoona. She also leaves two brothers and two sisters: Reuben Stahl of Van Dyke, David Stahl of Millerstown, Mrs. Martha Long of Thompsontown and Mrs. Margaret Winters of New Brighton. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon.
