Services for Donna Mae Slane Eubanks, 65, will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 8, 2007, at the Ringling Memorial Cemetery pavilion with Pastor Nick Ellis officiating. Interment will follow at the cemetery.
Born on Aug. 9, 1942, in Los Angeles to Virgil Slaine and Gladys Parker Slaine, she died on Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at the Ardmore hospital. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Dixie Comer, and two brothers, Jerry and Terry Slaine.
Raised in Los Angeles, she owned and operated a candy shop there before moving to Oklahoma. After moving to Ringling she worked as a nurse at the Ringling Nursing Center and other health care facilities in this area. She also owned a craft shop. In her retirement, she enjoyed quilting, painting and making doll clothes.
She and Wayne Eubanks were married on Nov. 2, 1984, in Ventura County, Calif.
Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, David Eubanks and wife, Paula, Ringling; two stepdaughters, Vickie Ross, Sacramento, Calif., and Kimberly Drako, Dayton, Ohio; two stepsons, Jerry Eubanks and wife, Margaret, Ringling, and Kevin Eubanks and wife, Shanna, Healdton; a brother, Bill Slaine, Westminster, Calif.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.
Bearers will be David Eubanks, Justin Eubanks, Kurtis Eubanks and Kevin Eubanks. Honorary bearers are Brenda and Jay Johnson, and Gladys and Butch Walker.
