Graveside service for Kay Alice Gwinn, 80, Lawton, will be at 11 a.m. Monday, March 30, 2015, in Highland Cemetery with the Rev. Dan Eppler officiating.
Mrs. Gwinn died Friday, March 27, 2015, in a Lawton Hospital.
Burial will be under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Mrs. Gwinn was born March 11, 1935, in Lawton to Dwight and Margurette Fraizer Malcolm. She attended the University of Oklahoma where she was a member of the Gamma Phi Beta Sorority and the Kappa-Education Sorority and remained very active in both throughout her life. She was also active in the Lawton Breakfast Club Class of 1953 and a member of Eastside Christian Church in Evansville, Ind. She married Richard Luther Gwinn on July 22, 1955, in Lawton. Mrs. Gwinn was a homemaker.
She is survived by her husband, Richard "Dick" Gwinn, of the home; two sons: Malcolm Steven Gwinn and wife Sherry and Richard Matthew Gwinn, all of Evansville, Ind; and two grandchildren: Cameron Andrew Gwinn of Bangalore, India, and Courtney Kay Gwinn of Chicago.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two children: Nancy Jane Gwinn and John Andrew Gwinn; two aunts: Irene Malcolm and Ruth Sanders; and a cousin, Susan Sanders.
