Mickie LaRue Payne, 67 of Duncan, passed away Monday Feb. 8, 2010 at her home. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 10 a.m. Feb. 10, 2010 at Denton Baptist Church, nine miles west of Hwy. 81 and north five miles to church. The Family will receive friends at the Carter-Smart Funeral Home from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. tonight. Mickey was born Feb. 6, 1943 in Duncan to Willard and Ruth (Pierce) Tinkle, she had lived most of her life in Duncan and was a member of the Denton Baptist Church. . Mickie is survived by her daughter; Tammy Phillips and her husband Mike of Duncan, a son; Rickey Bass and his wife Rita of Duncan. Brothers; W.F (Fred) Tinkle and his wife Leota of Oklahoma City, Charles Tinkle and his wife Judy of Orange, Texas. Sisters: Sylvia Burns and her husband Bobby of Duncan, Twyla Sampson, Sherry Kincannon and her husband J.W. of Oklahoma City, Corky Chandler and her husband Gordon of Duncan. Five grandchildren; Crystal, Amanda, Rachael, Ashley and Peyton, and one great grandchild Orion.
