LEOTA F. SHIRLEY, 76, Route 5, Box 540, died Monday, Dec. 17, 1990, in a Duncan hospital.
Service will be at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday in Oak Avenue Church of the Nazarene with the Rev. Chester Kneir officiating. Burial will be in Duncan Cemetery, under the direction of Carter-Smart Funeral Home.
Mrs. Shirley was born Dec. 11, 1914, in El Reno. She had been a nurse's aide at Meridian Nursing Home and was a member of Oak Avenue Church of the Nazarene.
Leota Pierce married B.J. Shirley on Aug. 24, 1934, in Comanche.
Survivors include her husband of the home; two sons, Galen Shirley of Imperial Beach, Calif., and Randy Shirley of Duncan; two sisters, Ruth Tinkle Metheny of Duncan and Dorothy Denney of Woodward; two brothers, Smokey Pierce and Grover Pierce, both of Duncan; and six grandchildren. Bearers will be men of Oak Avenue Church of the Nazarene.
