SUMMERVILLE - Brian John Shaw, 61, of Summerville, SC, died Tuesday, February 18, 2014. A visitation will be held at PARKS FUNERAL HOME on Saturday evening, February 22, 2014 from 6 - 8 o'clock. Burial and services will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105. Mr. Shaw was born May 18, 1952 in Passaic, NJ, a son of Raymond Patrick Shaw and Angela Thees Shaw. He was a retired Senior Chief Petty Officer in the US Navy with 22 years of service. He was a veteran of Vietnam and Desert Storm and was also a member of the Navy SEALs. In addition to his parents, Mr. Shaw is survived by two daughters, Amber Shaw and Kayla Shaw, both of Summerville; one brother, David Shaw of Summerville, and the children's mother, Donna Shaw also of Summerville.
