Ralph Everett Juhnke

Ralph Juhnke was the son of Albert Sam Juhnke and Cecil Bartlebaugh. He was born in Sweet Home, Linn County, Oregon and spent his early years in the Sweet Home area. He served in the United States Army during World War II.
On August 3, 1946, Ralph married Evelyn Grace Montgomery in Vancouver, Washington. The couple then moved to Lebanon, Oregon and lived there until Ralph's death. He worked for a number of years as a log truck driver. He also worked for 25 years as a heavy equipment lubricating engineer for the Operating Engineers Local #701. He retired in 1985.
After retiring, Ralph enjoyed working around his home, woodworking and fishing. He was a member of the American Legion Santiam Post #51.
