Walton, a native of Indianapolis, lived in Rialto for 20 years. She worked as a registered nurse for 40 years and was in the army during World War II.
She was survived by her three daughters, Margaret "Peggy" Johnson of Colton, CA., Nancy Valdez of Chino, CA., and Dalyse Kilhoffer of Kingston, Oklahoma; her son, Joe Hawkins of Rialto CA; four stepsons, Don of Louisiana, and Dwayne, Travis, and Warner, all of Arizona; two stepdaughters, Diane and Allison, both of Arizona; her brother Marvin "Bud" Arnold of Sun City, California; her sister, Dorothy "Dottie" Bray of Martinsville, Indiana; 11 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. She was followed in death by her Brother Marvin in 2003, her daughter Margaret in 2006, and her sister Dottie in 2013.
