MRS. CARRIE ELIZABETH HENDERSON
Mrs. Carrie Elizabeth Henderson, 59, 2003 Hamilton Ave., died at 9:45 a.m. yesterday at the Medical Center after a two-months illness.
The daughter of John Gulley of Knoxville, Tenn., and the late Mary E. Deweese Gulley, she was born March 23, 1898, in Spencer, Tenn.
Mrs. Henderson had lived in Columbus for 30 years, having come here from Chattanooga, Tenn. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband, R.W. Henderson of Columbus; a son, Donald W. Henderson of Columbus; four brothers, Larkin and Bogart Gulley, both of Columbus; James Gulley, Vancouver, Wash., and David Gulley, Whitwell, Tenn.; three sisters, Mrs. Mae Turner, Whitwell, Tenn., Mrs. E.G. Wiggins, Columbus, Mrs. J.R. Vasbinder, Clearfield, Utah; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Calvary Baptist Church. Other arrangements will be announced later by Britton and Dobbs, Columbus.
