HENDERSON - Robie W. Henderson, 56, died at 5:40 a.m. Monday at The Medical Center. Mr. Henderson was a route salesman for Crystal Cleaners in Columbus. Formerly of Columbus, he had moved to Phenix City last year. He was born in Hatchechubbee, Ala., Oct. 19, 1902, son of the late Robert E. and Arvenia Golden Henderson. He was a veteran of World War I and a member of the Calvary Baptist Church. His wife was the late Mrs. Carrie Gulley Henderson. Survivors include a son, Donald Henderson, Benton, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Susie McGriff, Miami, Fla., and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday from Britton & Dobbs, Columbus with Rev. Byram H. Glaze, officiating. Interment will be in Riverdale Cemetery. The following will serve as pallbearers: F.J. Hogan, L.V. Clark, W.L. Prophitt, J.C. Hardage, John R. Webb and C.C. Fletcher.
