Betty Lou Taylor Monroe, 90, wife of the late Baylus Henry Monroe, passed away December 10, 2022.
A native of Duncan, SC, daughter of the late Fred Laney and Myrtle Babb Taylor, she was retired from Spartanburg School District 5, and a charter member of Harmony Fellowship.
Surviving are three daughters, Diane Tucker (Ricky), Cindy Davis (Craig), and Wina Vaughn (Pat); one sister, Jean Morgan; five grandchildren, Jeff Tucker (Lynn), Tara Barber (Jayce), Candice Perkins, Rachael Dechane (David), and Brittany Taylor (Kyle); twelve great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Mrs. Monroe was predeceased by three sisters, one brother, and one grandchild, Richie Tucker.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 14, 2022, at Harmony Fellowship conducted by Pastor Terry Wilkerson. Burial will follow in Wood Memorial Park.
