She was a member of Centercrest Baptist Church; member of the Church Choir; graduate of Holt High School in 1973; worked at the University of Alabama.
Survivors: husband, Andy Wilson of Pinson; daughter, Samantha Wilson of Pinson; mother, Jimmie Nell Hewitt of Tuscaloosa; father, J. D. "Jack" Hewitt of Tuscaloosa; brothers, James Hewitt of Tuscaloosa and Dan Hewitt of Tuscaloosa; five nephews, three nieces, all of Tuscaloosa; mother and father-in-law, Earline Wilson and Clyde Wilson of Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services will be Friday, December 26, at 10:00 AM from Jefferson Memorial Chapel with Dr. Bob Curlee officiating. Graveside service in Sunset Memorial Gardens at 2 p.m. Visitation will be Friday from 8:30 a.m. until service time.
Pallbearers: Danny Davis, Woody Belcher, Joel Davis, Scott Wheeler, Rod Sherman, Nathan Mullins, Tim Smith, Danny Sumner. Pallbearers for Tuscaloosa: David Hewitt, Scott Hewitt, Brian Koon, Denise Noland, Lynn Watkins, James Wilson.
