Linda Regina Ransford, 75, was born January 29, 1941, in Monroe, LA, to Ed and Flo Ware. Linda went to be with her Lord on June 13, 2016. She was raised in the country of northeast Louisiana, until the family moved to Roswell, New Mexico. The family moved again to Oklahoma, where Linda graduated from Midwest City High School in 1959. Linda loved and supported her family, as they did her, especially as she later raised two sons, Jeffrey and Phillip. She continued to live and work in Oklahoma until retiring from Tinker Air Force Base. Linda loved helping others, and spent time working at the Master's Market food and clothing pantry for Meadowood Baptist Church. Preceded in death by both parents, Linda is survived by her sister, Glenda and husband Alex of Midwest City; brother, John and his wife Jimmie Diane of Euless, TX; sister, Marilyn and husband Dale of Florence, AL; son, Jeff and wife Nikol, of Oklahoma City, OK; son, Phillip and wife Kimberley of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Jessica, Ricky, Marcus, Katie, Olivia and Josie; as well as her beloved nieces and nephews. A service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2016, at Meadowood Baptist Church, 2816 N. Woodcrest Drive, Midwest City, Oklahoma 73110. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Mission Mid-Del, Inc., 2816 N. Woodcrest Drive, Midwest City, OK 73110.
