The services were held in the house in which he was born thirty years ago, October 2, 1880. His death occurred on the fifth anniversary of his marriage. All of his life was spent in the vicinity Pacific Junction and Glenwood, and he was widely known and universally esteemed. He graduated from the Glenwood High school in 1890. Two children, Lindsey, aged 4, and Donald, 1 year old, were born to them.Funeral services were conducted by Dr. O. O. Smith of this city. A male quartet from Glenwood furnished the music. The grave was made in the Glenwood cemetery, nearly all the people of the town witnessing the impressive services conducted by theMasonic lodge, of which he was a member. He was also a member of the Knights of Pythias, whose local members attended the services.
