Phillip Ralph Martin Sr.

Phillip Ralph Sr. was born October 21, 1954 in Clinton, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife Susan of the home, a son Phillip, mother and step dad Retha and Recel Hartle, sister Sharon Sullivan and husband Tom of Moore, mother-in-law, Margie Duke, 3 nieces and 3 nephews. He was preceded in death by his dad, Otis Martin. He was a Husband, Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle and Special friend to everyone he touched. He had taught the physically handicapped children in the Oklahoma City school system for 11 years and for the Moore school system the past 2 years. Each child and parent was important to him and they could call and talk with him at anytime. He was a special friend to all those he knew and loved them all.
He graduated from East Central with a bachelors degree in special education in 1972, and from Central State University with a masters in administration in 1981. He was a Phi Delta Kappa, active in the Special Olympics, Wheelchair Association, and The Young Astronauts.
He dedicated his life to his wife, son, family and the children he taught. He will be missed but the memories will be precious.
Services will be 2 p.m. Monday at Capitol Hill Baptist Church South with burial in Moore City Cemetery.
