Ebenezer Solomon Davis
(Abt 1810 - )
Ebenezer went west to Colorado and California with a brother. The brother came back and was told to give a message to Solomon's wife, "to come to him." The message did not get to her. When he did come back he got horses and a wagon and went back west with a lot of men to the 1849 California gold rush and was never heard from again. Later, Mrs. Davis learned that he had been killed in an Indian attack on the wagon train with which he was travelling.
