Glen W. "Bud" Lytle answered God's call September 23, 2009 ain McCook, Nebraska. He was born June 3, 1933 to James & Helen (Bolles) Lytle in McCook. He grew up in this area. He helped support his family while very young by working for area farmers and at sale barns.
He met and married Julia M Harsch on January 25, 1953 at St. John's Lutheran Church where they are members and attended with their four children and were blessed to teach the little children about their loving Savior in Sunday school.
After two years in the service of his country Bud farmed south of McCook and raised their family in this community.
He continued to work at local sale barns where he made life long friends. He didn't know a stranger or ignore anyone's need for help.
He enjoyed hunting & fishing with his children and grandchildren. He was an avid collector of antique tractors as well as old and new toy tractors. He also enjoyed going to swap meets and all kinds of auctions.
Preceding him in death were his parents; brother, Don; in-laws, Sam & Myrtle Harsch, brother-in-law Don and beloved son, Glen.
Survivors include his wife Julia of McCook, Nebraska; son, Dave and wife, Danyle of McCook and their children, Julia Ann and Nathan; son, Dan and wife, McCook, Nebraska, Sandy of Swink, COlorado and their children, Shawn, Bobbi and husband, Greg Borland, and Jamie Murillo; one daughter, Cherie and husband, Dan Sigwing of McCook, Nebraska and their children, Stacie and husband, Dustin Dold, Warren Odgers and Elisa Odgers; daughter-in-law, Missy Lytle of Hastings, Nebraska and her children, Jeffery and Genni; grandchildren Desiree & husband Brent Redger of Yuma, AZ, Brice and Cory Lytle of Montezuma, Kansas; brother, Jack and wife, Sharon Lytle of McCook, Nebraska; two sisters-in-law, Janice Wacker of Lincoln, Nebraska and Betty Lubcke of Napa, Idaho; nieces, nephews, family and a host of friends.
