Phyllis Joanne Riley, born in San Pedro, California on February 13, 1933, to William John and Mae Charlotte Kallunki Pasanen, passed from this life into eternity on September 4, 2018, at the age of 85. She was married to Gordon Allen Riley April 24, 1953. They were together until his death on August 10, 2011.
Joanne worked several years and retired as a registered nurse. She also served the Lord, supported her husband, and minister to many as a preacher’s wife. If you had an ailment, a runny nose or sore throat her question was always, “Have you gargled yet in normal saline?" That was her fix all. If you asked her how she was doing she would always say, “I’m in great shape for the shape I’m in". She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Gordon Riley, and two sisters: Selma and Suzy. She is survived by two sisters, Patty Todack and Karen Fautenberry; four daughters: Ellen Katka (Dublin, New Hampshire), Carol Olivas (Gonzales, LA), Linda Andres (Winnipeg, Canada), and Julie Hively (Burns City, TX); two sons Keith Riley (Frisco, TX) and Bill Riley (Silverdale, WA); 20 grand children and 22 great grandchildren.
