Mr. Sides passed away October 5, 2020. He was born October 29, 1964 in Tyler to Willard Hudson Sides and Peggy Jo Chandler Sides.
Maury was a member of Holly Springs United Methodist Church for 45 years. He was an excellent carpenter and very meticulous in his work. He could be described as an artisan. Maury enjoyed reading, especially the Bible. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved wildlife. He was connected to nature.
Maury had a lot of friends. He was always willing to help others and was always there for his family and friends.
Mr. Sides is preceded in death by his father, Willard Hudson Sides; brother, Marcus Chandler Sides; and grandparents: Wesley and Cordie Mae Chandler.
Maury is survived by his two sons: Marlon Andrew Sides and Maury Brandt Sides, both of Bella Vista, Arkansas; mother, Peggy Sides of Martins Mill; brother, Michael Hudson Sides of Tyler; sister, Merryl and Roy James of Ben Wheeler; brother, Matthew W. Sides of Martins Mill; and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
