Emma Annie Lee Allen married the Rev. Robert E. Lee (Bob) Bell (1864-46) in 1897 in Rockwall Co., Tx. and their children were Lee Bell (1898 – 1900), Annie B. Bell (1900 – 1986), Daisy S. Bell (1902 –), Freddie Bell (1905 –), Euell D. Bell (1908 – 1990), Jewell Bell (1911 – 1911) Robert W. Bell (1913 –) and Hazel Bell (1916 – 1925). Rev. Bell was a well-known East Texas Baptist Minister and was the son of Joseph Henry Bell (1819 – 1905) and Emily Adaline Wade (1841 – 1895).
Prior to her marriage to Rev. Bell she was married in Rockwall Co., Tx. to Ellie G. Allen (1871 – 1895) and they had one son, John Tinital Allen (1895 – 1977). Her son was brought up in the Bell household and went by the Bell last name as a youth. There is a possibility she had been married a brief time to someone named Thompson prior to Mr. Allen as well.
