Dan John Tangalakis

Dan passed away peacefully at home in Tarzana. Dan was born and raised in Los Angeles. In WWII he was a tank commander in the South Pacific and later graduated from the University of Southern California. In 1949 he married his lifelong love, Mary. After settling in Culver City, Dan began his law practice and raised his family. Dan's love of and dedication to his family defined his life. Services: Thursday, August 16, 10:30am, St. Sophia Cathedral. Interment at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills. Dan was preceded in death by his son, Steven, and is survived by wife, Mary; children Phillip, Paula, Louis, Christina, and their families. Family requests donations to Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, St. Sophia Cathedral of Los Angeles, or the University of Southern California scholarship fund.
