Gary R. Greenfield, 60, of Rockton, IL, died Monday, June 30, 2008 in Alden Meadow Park Health Care Center. He was born August 27, 1947 in Beloit, WI, the son of Harland and Gladys Haynes Greenfield. Gary was a 1965 graduate of Hononegah High School. He was a Vietnam veteran of the U.S. Navy. Gary was employed by Bloyer Well and Zenith Cutter. He was a member of the Rockton American Legion Post # 332. He enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren, snowmobiling and going to Petenwell Lake. Gary attended Central Christian Church. Survivors include his two children, Randy (Kelli) Greenfield of Roscoe, IL and Tonya (Rick) White of Rockton, IL; two grandchildren, Hannah and Sarah White; his mother, Gladys Johnson of Roscoe, IL; two brothers, Ed (Sharon) Greenfield of Marathon, FL, and Bob (Sheri) Greenfield of Rockton, IL; the mother of his children, Linda Greenfield of Roscoe, IL; brother-in-law, Robert McCartney of Rockton, IL; numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father, sister, Judy McCartney and stepfather, Charles Johnson [Find A Grave Memorial# 66992758].
