Individual Details

Vera Bessie Cunningham peacefully passed away on June 10, 2016 at the age of 102 in Pleasanton, CA. She was born on August 19, 1913 in Dallas, TX to parents John and Nora McGibboney. 

Vera is survived by her daughters Sheri Cunningham-Detlefsen and Linda Reed, son-in-law Doug Detlefsen and two grandchildren. 

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy O. Cunningham and daughter Diane DeRocco. Vera will be dearly missed by all who know and love her.

A visitation will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 from 1:30 to 2:30 pm in the Heritage Chapel at Lakewood Funeral Home. Funeral services will begin at 2:30 pm with burial to follow after in the Honor Garden at Lakewood Memorial Park.
