Stephens, Ola Halford "Honey" resident of Canton, Texas since 1984. Born December 20, 1909 passed away peacefully August 18, 2010 after a brief illness. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law Leon and Duanne Halford three grandchildren; six great grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. The family would like to thank all her many friends in Canton, Texas, the wonderful caretakers at Home Care & Hospice of East Texas, the staff at the Linnwood Nursing and Rehab & Hospice Compasses of Dallas. Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2010 from 2-4pm at Laurel Land Funeral Home, 6000 S. R.L. Thornton, Dallas, TX 75232. Graveside services will be held Monday, August 23, 2010 at Grove Hill Memorial Park, 3920 Samuel Blvd, Dallas, TX 75228 at 11:00am.
