Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday,ibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal.
Memorial Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 12, at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal. Father Mike Quinn will officiate. Burial will be at Grand View Burial Park in Hannibal.
Visitation will be from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Sunday, October 11, 2009 at the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
Mr. McIntyre was born October 10, 1936, in Hannibal, Missouri to C.W. "Mac" and Georgiabelle "Gige" Donaldson McIntyre.
He was married to Charlene Holman on May 20, 1961 in Hannibal, MO. She survives.
Other survivors include 4 children, Jay McIntyre (Kathy) of Springfield, MO, Donlee D. McIntyre (Beth) of Kansas City, MO, Angela M. Williams (Mark) of Lee's Summit, MO, Stewart M. McIntyre (Amy) of Hannibal, MO, 1 Brother, John McIntyre, 1 Sister, Nancy Frappier, 9 Grandchildren, Eric & Rachel McIntyre, Anna & Alex McIntyre, Kelly & Jolene Williams, Madelyn, Miles & Mason McIntyre and 5 nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. McIntyre was a Veteran of the U.S. Army. He was the former owner and operator of McIntyre and Sons Construction. Mr. McIntyre later retired from the State of Missouri as a construction project coordinator. He loved his family and grandchildren. Mr. McIntyre enjoyed socializing and attending sporting events and especially liked to play cards and shoot pool. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church. Mr. McIntyre was a donor to the "Gift Of Love" Program which coordinates organ and tissue donations to recipients in need of care.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Paul Baker, Dick Bowen, Bill Dinwiddie, Mark Williams, Rich Schanbacher and Jim Thompson.
Memorial contributions may be made to American Heart Association or American Cancer Society in care of the James O'Donnell Funeral Home.
