James Edward 'Ed" Roberts passed away on July 17, 2017 in his home surrounded by his family.
Mr. Roberts was born on January 28, 1933 in Hamilton, Alabama.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Avis Daisy Frye Roberts (1914-1999) and his father, Clovis Roseman Roberts (1907-1983).
He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Laura Judith Roberts (Hayes) of Adamsville, Al; his sons, Paul Roberts (Carol), Rusty Roberts (Leonette), Scott Roberts (Dawn); daughter, Bonnie Roberts Ward (Bryan); sister, Judy Roberts York (Gary); eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Mr. Roberts was a long time member of the Brookside Church of Christ where he served his Savior faithfully.
A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, July 20, 2017 at 1:00pm at Crestview Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with a time of visitation beginning at 12noon at the funeral home. Burial will be at Crestview Memorial Gardens.
