Life-Long Resident of County Answers Death
Mrs. America Jones 50 Years Member of Camp Ground Church
Death this morning summoned Mrs. America J. Jones, life-long resident of Tuscaloosa County, who died at the home of her son, P.H. Jones, at Berry, Route One. Mrs. Jones was n her seventy-fifth year. She was the wife of J.H. Jones.
Mrs. Jones, loved and honored by an ever-increasing circle of friends, had been, for more than 50 years a member of the Camp Ground Methodist church, and it is from this historic place that final services for her will be held Friday morning at 10 o'clock. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Surviving the beloved pioneer are five sons, P.H. and L.M. Jones, both of Berry; Robert Jones, of Panola; Albert Jones of Samantha, and A.G. Jones of Birmingham; and two daughters, Mrs. Nellie Collins, of Berry, and Mrs. Kate Dunn of Samantha.
