DIGHTON - Lena May Durr, 90, died March 26, 1988, at Lane County Hospital, Dighton.
Born Lena May Bobb May 16, 1897, in Cass County, Mo., she married Delmer O. Durr Dec. 6, 1916, in Newton. He died Oct. 6, 1967.
She was a homemaker and a Lane County resident since 1916.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Dighton, and charter member of the bridge club, Delphanian Club, Twentieth Century Club, Matrons' Class, United Methodist Women, Alamota Farm Bureau and O and O Sewing Club. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, PEO and TOPS club.
Survivors: daughters, Lorene Stormont, Tempe, Ariz., Ellen May Stanley and Mary Alice Bosley, both of Dighton, Geneva Hineman, Alexandria, Va., Jeannette Shull, Denver, Ila June Muchow, Paola, Lee Speer, Oklahoma City; 37 grandchildren; and 43
greatgrandchildren.
Funeral will be 2 p.m. Monday at the United Methodist Church, Dighton, the Rev. Bill Dial. Burial will be in Dighton Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may go to the church or the American Heart Association in care of Boomhower Funeral Home, Dighton.
