DIGHTON—Delmar 0. Durr. 79, retired Lane County farmer, died today at the Lane County Hospital in Dighton after an extended illness.
Born May 23, 1888, in Ness County, he moved to Lane County in 1904 with his parents and had lived here since that time.
He married Lena Bobb, Dec. 6, 1916, at Newton.
Mr. Durr was a member of the Methodist Church, Masonic Lodge and Shrine Consistory, all of Dighton.
In addition to the widow, Lena, survivors include seven daughters: Mrs. Ellen May Stanley, and Mrs. Geneva Heinman, Mrs. Mary Alice Bosley, Mrs. Jeannette Bosley, and Mrs. Lena Ruth Speer, all of Dighton, Mrs. Lorene Stormont, Tempe, Ariz, and Mrs.
Jla Muchow, Paola; five sisters, Mrs. Bertha Miller, Reseda, Calif. Mrs. Edna Ahfeldt, Mrs. Ray Terwilliger and Mrs. R. S. Terwilliger, all of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Mrs. Alma Church, Dighton; 35 grandchildren and 2 greatgrandchildren.
Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Dighton Methodist Church with the Rev. G. H. Pittman officiating. Burial will be in the Lane County Cemetery. Niles Funeral Home, Dighton, is in charge of arrangements.
