"Let not your hearts be troubled. Believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am there you may be also; John 14, 1-3. Burial will follow in LA National Cemetery. God looked around his garden and found an empty place. He then looked down upon the earth and saw your tired face. He put his arms around you and lifted you to rest. God's garden must be beautiful; he always takes the best. He knew that you were suffering. He knew you were in pain. He knew that you would never get well on earth again. He knew the road was getting rough and the hills were hard to climb. So he closed your eyelids and whispered, "Peace be thine". Pallbearers will be her sons. Honorary pallbearers will be her grandsons. In life, we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place, no one else will ever fill. We Love You Momma, Maw Maw. Published by The Advocate from Jan. 5 to Jan. 7, 2022.
