Janet was originally buried at Hopewell Baptist Church cemetery but during an expansion of building Janet and her sister, Betty, were moved to Tuscaloosa Memorial Park.
ROYCROFT CHILD DIES
Funeral Services Are Held At Hopewell Today
Janet Melba Roycroft, 18-month old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P.B. Roycroft, died at the home of her parents, 221 Fifth Street, at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon after a week's illness.
In addition to her father and mother, she is survived by her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. W.A. Roycroft and Mr. and Mrs. Alex Herrin, all of Tuscaloosa.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon from Hopewell Baptist Church. Two uncles, Robert St. Pierre and Dave Paterson, were announced as the pallbearers. Burial was to take place in the church cemetery.
