Son of Alonzo Lloyd (Calbert Earl) Herren and Willie Mae Allen.
Funeral services for Jerry Eugene Herren, 30, of 13 Crescent Lane, will be held at 3 p.m. Friday at Hopewell Church. Rev. Charles Langston will officiate. Burial will be in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park by Strickland-Hayes.
He died Wednesday in Druid City Hospital after a brief illness. Mr. Herren was employed by the Central Foundry.
Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Teresa Herren; his mother, Mrs. Willie Mae Herren, all of Tuscaloosa, two brothers, James Herren of Tuscaloosa and William Herren of Deerpark, Texas.
Active pallbearers are Robert Harrell, Thomas Reece, Billy A. Henderson, Frank Henderson, Homer Perry and Robert Lambert.
Honorary pallbearers are Charles Englebert, Leslie and Charles Campbell, Lex Taylor, Gerald Campbell and Dr. Robert Donald.
