Sarah Hannah Blue

Mrs. Marion Jacobs passed away at the home in north Eagle street at 7:00 o'clock Tuesday evening, the cause of death being bronchial pneumonia. While she had been failing since the middle of February, she was confined to her bed only the last two days.
---Sarah H. Blue Jacobs was born in the township of Fredonia, Feb. 9, 1846, the daughter of Peter and Eliza Blue. She was a student at Albion college. She was married Jan. 17, 1871 to Marion Jacobs of Sturgis, Michigan, where they lived until 1885 when they moved to Chicago and took up their residence in Marshall in 1906.
---Surviving are the husband, Marion Jacobs, one daughter, Mabel and sons Ray Carlton of Chicago and Lawrence Merton of New York.
---The funeral will occur at 2:30 o'clock Friday afternoon from the residence 212 north Eagle street. Officiating will be the Rev. C.E. Blanchard. Interment at Oakridge.
