To Mrs. Telitha Jackson, Benjamin Holcombe & his wife Sarah, Absalom Walker & his wife Susan, Samuel Bullington & his wife Elizabeth, Mrs. Mary Harris, Joseph D. Murphy & his wife Edith, Z. Hooker Guardian Adlitem for Nathaniel Jackson, Amy Jackson, Ralph Jackson, William Jackson & John Jackson Mrs Mary Harris Guardian Adlitem for President Harris, Jesse Harris & William Harris minor heirs of Thomas Harris Decd. All heir and legal representatives of Frederick Jackson sur.
You are hereby required to appear at the Court of Ordinary to be holden, at Union Court House for Union district, on the first day of May, Anno Domini, 1835, to shew cause, if any you can, why the real Estate of the said Frederick Jackson sur deceased, situate in said district, & bounded by H H Holcombe on the north, on the east by lands belonging to the estate of Nevill Holcombe Decd., on the south by William Sparks' land and on the west by Jason Boatman and containing about one hundred and seventy acres should not be divided or sold: Allotting the said Telitha Jackson one third part thereof and the remaining two thirds between the other heirs and legal representatives of the said Frederick Jackson sur Decd. According to their respective interests.
Given under my Hand and Seal, this twenty fourth day of February Anno Domini, one thousand eight hundred and thirty five.

Frederick Jackson, Sr. died in Union District before 1835. He left a widow, Letitia [sic; Talitha Greer Jackson], and children: Sarah (wife of Benjamin Holcombe), Susan (wife of Abram Walker), Elizabeth (wife of Samuel Bullington), Mary (widow of Thomas Harris), Edith (wife of Joseph D. Murphy); and to Z. Hooper, as Guardian for minor children, Amy, Nathaniel, Ralph, John, and William Jackson.
