Rhoda S. Mundine

Rhoda S. Mundine was born in Tennessee to Charles Mundine (1772-1843) and Ann Howard Mundine (1775-1843). She moved with her family to Alabama in 1816, and married Tarlton Farris Holcombe in 1827. She was very involved in the Liberty Baptist church and a strong supporter of her pastor husband for 55 years.
Rhoda and her husband Tarlton Farris had eight children: Eliza M. (1829-1906), Hosea A. (1831-1863), Abijah Chapman (1832-1862), Cassandra Ann (1834-1886), Henry C. (1836-1864), Martha Emeline (1837-1922), James S. (1839-1864) and John W (1844- ).
