James L. "Bodie" Hinton Jr.
NORTHPORT James L. “Bodie" Hinton, Jr., age 75, of Northport, died Jan. 5, 2011, at home. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with Rev. Clay Hahn officiating. Burial will follow in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Tuscaloosa Memorial Chapel Funeral; Home directing. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
Mr. Hinton was employed for over 30 years with the Railroad. He was a graduate of Tuscaloosa High School, where he played football and ran track. He enjoyed woodworking and vacationing with his family. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather who will be missed by all.
Honorary pallbearers are previous Railroad coworkers, Hospice of West Alabama caregivers, and all eight of his special sisters-in-law.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama or one's favorite charity.
