Mrs. Lois Channell
Mrs Lois Lewis Channell, 58, of 4811 Reichhold Road died Monday in Druid city Hospital.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Holt Baptist Church with the Rev. Leon Elmore officiating. Burial will be in Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Strickland-Hayes in charge. The body will lie in state at the church from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m.
Survivors include nine daughters, Mrs. James L. Hinton, Mrs Fred Parker, Mrs. W. J. Parker, Mrs. Kenneth Fretwell, Mrs. Tommy Crowder, Miss Linda Channell and Miss Judy Channell, all of Tuscaloosa, Mrs. Robert Dockery of Tampa Fla., and Mrs. Nathan Sanford of Chicago; two sisters, Mrs. Ila Malone of coaling and Mrs. Mable Cox of Reform; two brothers, Carver Lewis of Portsmouth, Va., and Randolph Lewis of Covina Calif., and 12 grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be Carey Earl Lewis, Louis Malone, Carver Malone, Aaron Channell, J. M. Jacobs and Herbert Channell.
Honorary pallbearers will be Cecil Davis, Wyburn Marchant, Fred L. Hamner, J. W. Sutton, Dr. J. C. Guin and deacons of the Holt Baptist Church.
