June Dee Auvil, 83, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 19, 2012.
She was born on June 9, 1929, in Pelly, Texas to John and Mary Lula Jones.
She attended and graduated from Livingston High School.
She was a loving wife, mother, and nanny, who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
She is survived by her son, Thomas Lynn Barnett, and his wife Donna, son-in-law, David R. Reeves, adopted son, Gilbert Guajardo, granddaughters, Sharon Cox, Tammy Barnett, Ty Molina, Kayce Faircloth, grandsons, Dusty Rutledge, Toby Barnett, Shane Nash and Jerime Harris.
She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Auvil was preceded in death by her husband, T.L. Barnett, son, Travis Lee Barnett, daughters, Peggy June Harris and Mary Denese Reeves, parents, John D. "Shorty" Jones and Mary Lula Hough Jones, sisters, Lula Mae Jones Herbelin and Lonie Katheryn Jones Covington, brothers, J.D. Jones, Lemuel Jackson Jones and Robert "Bob" Jones.
Serving as pallbearers are Gil Guajardo, Jerime Harris, Doug Graves, Toby Barnett, Shane Nash, Dusty Rutledge, and Randy Butler. Louie Railey will serve as alternate.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2012, from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Home, 1015 Federal Rd. Houston, Texas 77015.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, October 22, 2012, at 10:00 A.M. at the Advantage Howard Glendale Funeral Home Chapel.
Officiating the services will be Pastor Ken Dunham.
Interment will follow at San Jacinto Cemetery.
