Louise K. Covington was born April 15, 1923 in Lufkin, Texas. She went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2007 in Thibodaux, Louisiana.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John D. and Lula Mae Jones; husband, Lee Andrew Covington; and daughter, Rannie Kay Reynolds. Survivors include, a sister, June Auvil of Galena Park; daughters, Mary (Cookie) Roddey and husband Reece of Rock Island, Tennessee, Pat Brookshire of Cleveland and Sue Oncale and husband Randy of Napoleonville, Louisiana; sons, Johnny Covington and wife Anna of Brazoria, Jimmy Covington and wife Tina of Plum Grove, Andy Covington and wife Bridget of Opelousas, Louisiana and Carl Wayne (Scooter) Covington of Raceland, Louisiana. She also leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Johnny Landry, Roy Landry, Jim Covington, Brandon Covington, Randy Reynolds and Kyle Krebs. She will be missed by all, but always in the hearts of her friends and loved ones.
Me Maw was loved by many. Her smile and gentle laughter will be so missed. Those that knew her will never forget the love and strength that she has given to so many.
Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, August 16, 2007 from 5 to 9 p.m. in Cashner Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held for Louise on Friday, August 17, 2007 at 12:30 p.m. in Cashner Colonial Chapel in Conroe, Texas. Interment will follow in Conroe Memorial Park Cemetery.
