Geraldine Barr Samford Boden lived in Louisville. She was an accomplished painter, craftsperson, and singer. She was soprano soloist for several churches, most recently St. Luke’s Episcopal Church, in Anchorage, Ky. She was also soloist in two concerts with the Louisville Orchestra; the Chamber Singers of Louisville, and several performances with the University of Louisville Early Music Ensemble. Although mainly a homemaker, she was also office manager for two advertising agencies. She married in 1960, Brenchley Linn Boden (U.L. 1960), son of Emmett Brenchley (1900-57) and Mary Louise Krauss Boden (1904-60), of Louisville. He was operations and promotional director for WHAS TV and radio and president of Boden & Associates Advertising, Inc. Their children are Brenchley Linn, Jr., David Kent, Robert Tennant, Blair Samford and Brittany Carole Boden.
