Thomas Samford Walpole, of Johns Island, entered into eternal rest on the evening of September 9, 2010.
Thomas was born, May 4, 1970, in Charleston, the son of B. Legare Walpole, Jr. and Aileen Samford Walpole.
He graduated from Low Country Academy and was co-owner and operator of Abbapoola Turf. He was also a member of the Agricultural Society of South Carolina.
Thomas was an avid hunter and fisherman, a beloved son, brother, and uncle and will be missed. At his death he carried in his wallet a Cursillo Pilgrim's Guide.
He is survived by his parents of Johns Island, a brother Bryan L. Walpole, III and wife Anne of James Island, sister, Aileen W. Halford and husband Spencer of Johns Island, two nieces, Julia Lofton Walpole, and Eliza D. Halford, and two nephews, B. Legare Walpole, IV, and Spencer J. Halford, Jr.
Interment was in Johns Island Presbyterian Churchyard.
