Donald H. Gibbs, 87, Bradenton, died Oct. 10, 2003. He was born Oct. 25, 1915, in Adams, N.Y., and came to Bradenton in 1976 from Alfred, N.Y. He was director of admissions at Alfred State College from 1962 to 1976. He was an Army veteran of World War II and was discharged as a corporal. He was an Episcopalian. Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Georgina; a daughter, Christine Bliss of Canandaigua, N.Y.; a son, Donald G. of Rochester, N.Y.; and six grandchildren. National Cremation Society, Sarasota chapter, is in charge. Published in Herald Tribune on Oct. 12, 2003
